Pambula Preschool is a community based two-unit preschool; licensed for 40 children.
We have been successfully operating locally for over 40 years. The Preschool’s running costs are funded by fees and recurrent funding from NSW Department of Education.
Our Management Committee comprises of parents and is responsible for the overall management of the Preschool. The Management Committee ensures the ongoing viability of the Preschool and works in collaboration with the Director and staff. Members are elected at the Annual General Meeting and subsequent meetings are held monthly. Fundraising events occur throughout the year. These events help raise funds for new equipment, upgrade of the playground, teaching resources and books, which all ultimately benefit the children. Working bees are also organised from time to time and we rely on parent help and resources to keep our Preschool well maintained.
Pambula Preschool has received an overall rating of 'Exceeding' under the National Quality Standards. Preschool also rated 'Exceeding' in each of these quality areas.
